Because we sell digital products (PDF recipe files), the rules for returns and refunds differ from physical goods.
1. Digital Products (PDF Downloads) – No Returns After Download
All products sold on Cake Box Store are digital downloads delivered electronically.
Under EU consumer protection law, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
However, this right does not apply to digital content once delivery (download or access) has begun, if you have given your explicit consent and acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal.
By completing your purchase, you agree that:

the digital product will be made available to you immediately after payment; and

you lose your 14 day right of withdrawal once the download/access begins.
EU Right of Withdrawal (Digital Content): Under EU law, customers normally have a 14-day withdrawal right. However, this does not apply to digital content once delivery (download/access) begins, if you have agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your withdrawal right. By purchasing our digital products, you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your right of withdrawal once download/access begins.
2. Refund Eligibility (Exceptions)
Although we do not offer refunds for digital products once accessed, we may offer a refund or replacement in the following cases:
✅ Duplicate purchase (you purchased the same product twice accidentally)
✅ Technical issues (you cannot download or open the file and we cannot resolve the issue)
✅ File defect (the PDF is corrupted or incomplete)
✅ Wrong product delivered (you received a different file than what you purchased)

3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted in these cases:
❌ You changed your mind after purchase
❌ You expected something different (please read product descriptions carefully)
❌ You failed to download the product during any stated access period
❌ You claim the product did not meet your taste/skill expectations
❌ You provided an incorrect email address and did not contact us promptly
4. Delivery of Digital Products
Digital products are typically delivered immediately after payment via:

on-screen download link, and/or

email confirmation containing your download link
If you do not receive access within a reasonable time, please:

check your spam/junk folder

ensure your email address was entered correctly
